Expanding foam is predominantly used in filling large gaps where upon the foam will expand to fill the cavity, you can also use Nu Stock expanding foam to fix window and door frames and secure loose tiles, it can also be utilizes to offer insulation between brickwork and external cladding substrates, it is an excellent product to use to fill gaps between pipe work and brick cavities, you can use Nu Stock expanding foam to provide a backing in most types of sealant applications.
Nu Stock expanding foam is green in its appearance and it is packaged in a 750mm can, it is applied by shaking the can quite vigorously for 20secs you remove the cap and apply the supplied adapter and nozzle, you must turn the can upside down and press the adapter for best results half fill the aperture and lightly spray the installed foam with water this will cause the foam to expand and complete the filling process, it is recommended to use the expanding foam in temperatures of between + 5C AND 30C curing will usually take up to 24 hours.
You can saw, plaster or paint over Nu Stock polyurethane expanding foam once it is fully cured, you are advised to apply a cover application of the above or use a sealant or render as the product is not resistant to ultra violet light.
The product is extremely flammable, and is harmful by inhalation it is irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin contact always wear suitable protective clothes and use gloves and eye protection, always follow manufacturers instructions carefully before using the product.
